We all have different personalities and our own sense of style. Those personalities and style are reflected in our homes. Some of us may be more traditional while others like to push the envelope and like unique and different. There are a variety of different kitchen styles that may work for an individual. Figuring out which one is right for you and your home is the first hurdle to overcome when designing a kitchen.
Recently the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA)surveyed 420 kitchen and bath designers to find out what the most popular design trends are for 2014. It won’t surprise you that homeowners are opting for more simple lines and a lot less ornamentation. They are more focused on good storage and space planning. Homeowners are using more neutral colors such as beige bone, and gray. The most popular appliances are gas cooktops, convections ovens, and microwave drawers.
